The Grooming Process
-
Scheduling your pup’s appointment is easy — just pick a date and time that works for you with one of our groomers.
-
Drop your doggo off at our salon at your scheduled appointment time, conveniently located at 592 Mulberry Street, Blacklick, Ohio, for their personalized grooming session. When you arrive, send us a message and your groomer will meet you in the waiting room.
-
Each grooming session is one-on-one from beginning to end — no rush, no stress. Your pup’s groomer personalizes the experience to their unique needs, coat type, and temperament. We don’t use cage dryers and make every effort to keep dogs out of crates, creating a peaceful environment where they can truly relax.
-
When we’re about 15 minutes from finishing, you’ll receive a text letting you know your pup is almost ready — clean, happy, and smelling amazing!
Please plan to arrive on time so we can avoid using crates. We ask that all pups are picked up within 45 minutes of notification to help keep our schedule running smoothly and to avoid late pickup fees.

We understand that not every dog loves grooming — especially rescues or those new to the experience. We always aim to create a low-stress, one-on-one environment where pups can feel safe and comfortable.
If your dog is a puppy, we highly recommend starting early with our Puppy Package (as young as 4 months) to help them build confidence and positive associations.
That said, some dogs become anxious during certain parts of the groom — like the dryer, nail trim, or clippers. We’ll do our best to help them through it safely and patiently. However, we cannot tolerate aggression for safety reasons.
If a dog attempts to bite or becomes a danger to themselves (such as thrashing or trying to jump), we’ll stop the groom and charge 50% of the service fee for the time spent and safety measures required. -
If your dog has matting, we’ll assess the coat and determine the safest approach. A dematting fee may apply depending on the severity. In some cases, shaving is the only humane option — mats can pull at the skin and cause irritation, sores, or infection if left untreated.
Our top priority is always your dog’s comfort, safety, and long-term coat health, so we’ll communicate clearly about the best plan moving forward.
